Emergency Braking System

This system is able to replace the main brake cylinder as a stand-alone solution during a vehicle test. Due to two possible          connections to the braking system, one or additional two brake circuits can be integrated, whereon the system is working in the case of an emergency stop. Used as a permanently installed braking system it is part of each mobile barrier from ERNST to avoid a second impact of the barrier after the crash has happened.

 

The system can be triggered by four ways:
  -  Activation by hand and without power supply
  -  Activation by hand and with power supply
  -  Activation by the deceleration sensor
  -  Activation over an external signal/emergency button

Using the operating panel, all setups can be performed on the display:
  -  Activation threshold
  -  Delay time
  -  Hold time
  -  Test time

 

Also, the applied electric tension is shown on the display.

It comes with an integrated fault analysis, which displays a code during a fault.

This system is able to replace the main brake cylinder as a stand-alone solution.
As a result of the compact design, an insertion into the legroom of the test vehicle can be accomplished easily. Due to two        possible connections to the braking system, one or additional two brake circuits can be integrated, whereon the system is          working in case of an emergency stop. Depending on your crash lab conditions, the CCB HYDA 4 can also be used to regulate    the emergency braking process of your crash test equipment.

 

The system can be triggered by three ways:
